Vision and Hearing- 7th Grade Students are screened for distance. If your student is having difficulty with reading or near vision please take them to an eye care specialist for a proper examination. Please encourage your student to wear their glasses or hearing aids every day.
Acanthosis Nigricans or AN is a skin marker found on the back of the neck which can be a precursor to Type II Diabetes. Screened in 7th Grade.
Spinal Screening/Scoliosis for 7th grade girls and 8th grade boys.
If your child fails a screening, a referral letter will be sent to you. We encourage you to follow up with a specialist and return the results of the exam to your School Nurse.
