On Saturday, February 21st, 2026, Ulrich's "Team Bulldog Prodigy" won Second Place at The North Harris Regional Destination Imagination Tournament's Casting Shadows challenge. Sophia Rasmussen, Elizabeth Rasmussen, Everleigh Leizear, Annalise Helm and Brytan Turner's performance win secures them a space at the Lone Star Finals State Tournament in April. Register by SATURDAY Feb 28 TFL Flag is a fast moving NFL program with games designed to improve the skill position players: QB, WR, RB, and DB’s. Rules can be found on the website, thefarmleague.com. - 10 games with an end-of-season tournament. - Players divided into GRADE specific divisions to allow for an equal level of play. - Games played Friday nights and Sunday afternoons, with some divisions playing Tues & Wed evenings. - All players receive NFL jersey, matching shorts and a set of flags. - Flag football is a great game designed by NFL to teach kids the game and to be physically active. Boy’s middle school division is a blast. The older kids make some amazing plays. - Players are allowed to play up a grade level. - Teams built on friend requests, coach request or elementary school zoned to. On Saturday, February 7th, the Bayou City Middle School Art Contest announced the 30 finalists for 2026. This year over 500 students from the Houst area entered their artwork. We are proud to announce that Ulrich has 3 finalists this year, Catlynn N. 8th, Tianah M. 8th, and Gabriela O. N. 7th.
The Middle School Art Competition is for students in grades 5-8 from Houston schools. The art contest offers middle school students the opportunity to participate in a 2-D juried competition, have their art displayed in public, interact with working artists, and win prizes for themselves and their school’s art program.
This year’s theme “Through My Eyes” invited students to share the world as they see it: their neighborhoods, their families, their challenges, their hopes, and the moments that shape their unique perspectives.

This past Wednesday, the Rodeo Art Awards were announced at the Klein Rodeo Open House. We had 18 students who were selected to exhibit their artwork during this event. Tianah M. and Bella N. were recognized for their Quick Draw wins. Hayden C. was awarded the Gold Medal for his painting, "Gathering in the Pasture". Congratulations to all of our Art students who dedicated countless hours to creating their rodeo artwork, demonstrating exceptional commitment, perseverance, and pride in their work.
