Building Habits for Success: Owning Responsibility at Home

At Ulrich Intermediate, our P.R.I.D.E. values guide everything we do. We know that student success in the classroom begins with strong habits formed at home. When families and schools align on the same goals, we create a much bigger impact!

Responsibility Builds Freedom

Small daily actions at home create confident, independent learners at school. Here are three practical ways to support responsibility in your household:

• Set Clear Expectations: Talk with your child about what responsibility looks like. Establish a consistent daily routine, assign age-appropriate chores, and help them set personal goals they can follow through on.

• Show and Teach: Children learn by watching the adults around them. Model good habits, give encouragement when they try, and remember to celebrate progress over perfection.

• Keep the Conversation Going: Check in regularly about their goals and challenges. Ask open-ended questions, listen without judgment, and guide them to solve problems on their own.

Together, we can help our Bulldogs build positive habits for a brighter future!

Mark your calendars! 🗓️ The Ulrich Fall Book Fair is right around the corner from September 28th to October 2nd. Make sure your student drops by to explore brand-new titles and unlock new worlds! 📚🚀
